It can be very difficult to bring a premature baby home from the NICU. Preemies are hard to feed, and may need special equipment such as apnea monitors and oxygen tanks. NICU staff works hard to prepare parents for discharge, but some parents may still not feel ready. What do you wish you had known before bringing your baby home from the NICU?
