My Baby

My little baby girl Amaya was born at 26 weeks and her birth weight was only 580 gm. She has been in the NICU for 85 days now. It has been really long 85 days watching my little angel going thru a lot of things including a PDA surgery and laser eye surgery. She was connected to the ventilator for more than 70 days. Her body weight is increasing rapidly and now it is 1kg 230gm!

Bringing My Baby Home

In about another 6 days I am bringing my baby girl home......Shall let you know how it is afterwards!!

Right now I am getting prepared with her nursery and learning cup feeding and breast feeding. Since she is still tiny, its difficult for her to suck milk from me.

Lessons Learned

  • Patience........you need to be patient to see the growth of your baby. Sometimes it might take longer than you think it would. You should never give up and keep hopes on your baby and provide your baby everything she/he needs.
  • Be strong
