To get a copy of your baby’s medical records, contact the medical records department of the hospital or doctor’s office where your baby was treated. You will have to pay a fee and wait for the records to be ready; the fee and wait time vary by state. If your baby was treated in more than one hospital or doctor, you will have to request records at each facility that treated your baby.
